Our Philosophy

Here at Kindred Spirits Doula Services one of our greatest desires as doulas are to see birthing people enjoy the birth of their child(ren). We want to help facilitate a profound birth experience that empowers people to be confident in their abilities and strength, and to bring enthusiasm and support to their birth environment. We are dedicated to making a change in our community to spread awareness of the impact that birth creates in each individual life. We believe it is an honor to be included in one of the most pivotal times in a person’s life. We are committed to providing emotional, physical, and educational support to our clients and their partners and make their birth experience as smooth as possible. We look forward to partnering with you and your family!

Meet the Doulas

Dana Jarmon's bio photo

Dana Jarmon

Dana currently lives in Fuquay Varina, North Carolina with her husband, Joseph, their sons, Beckham and Weston, and their dog, Rudy. Dana was inspired to become a doula in 2015 after years of interest in birth and hearing the birth story of a friend who had a beautiful unmedicated birth using a doula for support. After learning more about the role of a doula and using a doula for her son’s birth in 2016 she was sold. Dana has a passion for serving and building community with women and helping to facilitate a wonderful birth experience for expecting people, their partners, and their families. She enjoys spending time with her boys, chatting with friends, being outdoors, cooking (and eating!) great food, exercising, and researching everything and anything birth related.

Morgan Vuznytsya

After realizing one of her biggest interests/passions is to serve women during this beautiful journey into motherhood and to make a positive impact in the community surrounding all things birth, she decided to go for it and took the ToLabor birth doula workshop in 2015 when her son was 4 months old and began working as a doula a year later.

When Morgan isn’t spending time with her family or at a birth- she loves participating in weightlifting/crossfit, escaping to the mountains with her husband any chance she gets, coffee dates with friends, researching and continuing her knowledge as a doula, and photography.
